Miami flooring decisions often start with a condo rulebook as much as a design preference. Ozzifloors brings the mobile showroom to you in Miami, letting you compare materials in your own interior while we discuss building access and installation limitations. From a Brickell high-rise to a Coconut Grove residence, the goal is a floor that suits both the space and the conditions behind it, not simply a sample that looks appealing.

Our HOA had to do major building work, and unfortunately that work completely destroyed our floors. We called Ozzifloors, and they came out the very next day to assess the damage and provide an incredibly reasonable quote…

The young man who came to our home yesterday to install the floor gets my highest recommendation! He worked from early afternoon to late in the evening nonstop, never complained once and did an outstanding job.

Neighborhoods and areas served in Miami

Our Miami service area includes Brickell, Downtown Miami, Edgewater, Coconut Grove and Shenandoah. These locations represent several different residential settings, so please share your community or building name along with the rooms you want to update. We come to you anywhere in Miami. There is no store to visit: samples, measurement and the price all happen in your home.

Typical Miami homes and flooring priorities

Brickell, Downtown Miami and Edgewater towers may have strict condo association rules covering sound control, delivery, work hours and contractor paperwork. A Shenandoah house can involve older slab repairs or multiple existing finishes instead. These differences affect the order of decisions: in a tower, confirm the permitted assembly before finalizing materials; in an older home, investigate the substrate before assuming an easy overlay. We tailor the proposed work to the residence rather than applying a high-rise solution to every Miami address.

Preparation before the new floor goes down

Tile-over installations are worth evaluating but are never automatic. Existing tile must be sound, adequately bonded and suitable for the new flooring system; grout joints, flatness and overall finished height all matter. Loose or hollow areas may call for a different approach. Added height can interfere with doors, appliances and balcony thresholds. Miami humidity also means that a waterproof surface should not be confused with moisture management underneath. We consider preparation and manufacturer requirements before recommending whether retaining tile makes sense.

Your Miami visit: travel and project planning

The approximate drive from our Coconut Creek base to Miami is about 50 minutes. This is a travel guide, not a promised arrival window. Traffic, your exact neighborhood and property entry procedures can affect the journey.

For an in-home visit, have the building's flooring package ready if one is available. Include acoustic criteria and any approval forms, then identify the rooms you want measured. Tell us about loading docks, service elevators and parking restrictions that could influence later installation logistics. We review the visible conditions, compare finishes in your apartment's light and explain the difference between material selection, association approval and substrate preparation so each decision can happen in the appropriate order.

Miami flooring questions

Can you install over existing tile in a Miami condo?

Sometimes. We first assess tile stability, flatness, grout joints and height impacts. The proposed system must also satisfy the building’s rules and the flooring manufacturer; retaining tile is not appropriate for every apartment.

Will attached underlayment satisfy my Brickell association?

Not necessarily. A Brickell association may require documentation for a specific tested assembly. Obtain the written acoustic criteria so compatibility and approval can be checked before relying on an attached pad alone.

Do you bring samples to Edgewater high-rises?

Yes. We can visit your Edgewater residence with samples. Please arrange guest access and confirm parking or elevator instructions so the appointment is practical within your building’s visitor procedures.

What is the travel time from Coconut Creek to Miami?

Miami is about 50 minutes from our Coconut Creek base. Traffic and the destination neighborhood can substantially affect travel, while tower entry adds another variable. The appointment is coordinated separately from this approximate drive.

Does Miami humidity rule out vinyl plank?

Not by itself. Product suitability depends on the indoor conditions, substrate and installation system. We review moisture concerns and manufacturer requirements, and active leaks must be resolved rather than covered by new flooring.

How much does flooring installation cost?

Installation starts at $2 per sq ft for labor, with a minimum project of 400 sq ft. Materials and the final installed scope are quoted at the free in-home visit.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — licensed and insured, with our own installation crews, not subcontractors.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — financing is available. Our team explains the options at your free in-home visit.
